EQUANS is looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team in Hatfield, with flexibility to work from home 2 3 days per week. This is a 12 month FTC role working full time hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance and benefits package.
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is an operational role for an individual with excellent communication and relationship building skills and the capability to be aligned with day to day operational pressures across divisions. The role is required to be focused on quick and reactive support to ensure business targets are achieved. The HRBP position requires the ability to influence, persuade, coach and mentor line managers, applying strong business partnering skills. The role is responsible for day to day HR planning and operational HR service delivery that includes managing a Learning & Development function, promotion of employee engagement and wellbeing. The role requires excellent management skills and a creative, proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
What will you deliver?
1. Build strong and customer-focused relationships with Senior Management Team, Line Managers and colleagues at the head office and on site.
2. Ensure managers understand and are familiar with policies and procedures and are fully and appropriately advised on HR and people development implications of any given situation.
3. Manage HR administration activities throughout the employee life cycle, including, recruitment and on-boarding/induction process, Employee Engagement survey process, Performance Development Review process, Talent/Succession management process and Salary review process.
4. Educate line managers to ensure compliance with systems, policies and procedures associated with recruitment/resource management, absence management, talent/succession management, any ongoing performance management and change management
5. Provide advice, guidance and where necessary direction, as required on all HR related matters
6. Ensure payroll receive any salary forms required and that these are correctly completed
7. Regularly meet with department/ managers to ensure that people-related priorities are set and achieved to drive forward business performance.
8. Attend relevant management team meetings at departmental level to guide the business on business-specific employment matters
9. Build a coaching/consulting role with managers to help them deal with colleagues and performance management issues
10. In conjunction with fellow HR professionals. participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the Places & Communities (South) organisation.
11. Act as first line support to resolve any issues associated with the prevailing HRIS systems.

Who are we looking for?
23. Relevant experience of managing and delivering Human Resources processes that support the full employee life cycle
24. CIPD qualified or working towards
25. Up to date knowledge of UK employment legislation
26. Strong employee relations background
27. Relevant sector experience
28. Demonstrable experience in line management and developing junior team members
29. Experience in reporting on several simultaneous projects
