South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust arerecruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the North KirkleesOlder People Community Team based at Beckside Court, 286 Bradford Road, Batley,WF17 5PW. This role plays a vital partin ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be anintegral role within the North Kirklees Older People community team.

Qualifications
Essential
1. MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
Desirable
2. Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
3. MRCPsych.
4. Additional clinical qualifications.
Experience
Essential
5. Excellent knowledge in specialty.
6. Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
8. Able to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training
9. Ability to work in and lead team.
10. Demonstrate commitment to shared leadership and collaborative working to deliver improvement.
11. Participated in continuous professional development.
12. Participated in research or service evaluation.
13. Able to use and appraise clinical evidence.
14. Has actively participated in clinical audit and quality improvement programmes.
Desirable
15. Able to plan and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training relevant to this post.

17. Experienced in clinical research and / or service evaluation.

Eligibility
Essential
20. Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
21. Included on the GMC Specialist Register for Older People / Dual training OR within six months of gaining CCT.
22. Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within three months of appointment.
23. Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within three months of appointment.
Desirable
24. In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
