Be part of something that truly matters at Lipson
Improve attendance. Safeguard futures. Help every student thrive
At Lipson, we believe education transforms lives — and excellent attendance is fundamental to making that happen. Every day in school matters. Every lesson counts. Every student deserves the opportunity to succeed.
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and resilient Attendance Officer to lead and coordinate our attendance systems and support students and families to overcome barriers to learning.
This isn’t just an administrative role — this is impact.
You will work at the heart of our school community, ensuring robust attendance processes, building strong relationships with families, and taking decisive action to reduce persistent absence and safeguard student welfare.
And you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be supported by a collaborative administration team, senior leaders who value your expertise, and the wider Ted Wragg Trust — a family of schools committed to strengthening communities through excellent education
Why This Role Matters
You will be trusted to assess situations that are not always straightforward, make informed decisions within policy guidelines, and take action that can have a significant impact on students and families.
Every improvement in attendance represents a young person given a better chance to succeed — and you will be central to making that happen.
Award-Winning Culture
In 2025, Lipson secured seven regional and national awards for staff and student satisfaction, reflecting our commitment to listening, improving and creating an exceptional environment for both colleagues and young people.
Our Edurio results speak for themselves:

This places us in the top 10 nationally for staff voice and parental confidence, and in the top 10 regionally for the Trusted Leadership Award. This is a place where people love to work — and where your contribution truly matters.
