Spray Painter - Magherafelt
We’re recruiting for a Spray Painter to join a busy production team within a well-established company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for surface preparation, applying coatings to specification, and ensuring a high-quality finish across all products. You may also be required to carry out detailed hand brushing on hard-to-reach areas.
This position would suit someone with a steady hand, strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of paint spraying techniques. If you're confident working to exact finishes and enjoy producing quality results, we'd love to hear from you. About the role:

Key Responsibilities:
5. Following work instructions for each individual project to ensure specification compliance
6. Removing rust and other loose materials using a wire brush/appropriate equipment.
7. Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed.
8. Applying masking tape and coverings over areas that are not being sprayed when required.
9. Selecting and mixing the required coating liquids.
10. Selecting and attaching the correct spray nozzle to ensure the desired quality.
11. Spraying machines, products, and wall areas using industry techniques.
12. Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job.
13. Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried to ensure desired quality has been achieved, in line with BS EN 1090.
14. Wear appropriate PPE required for spray painting.
