Quotations Engineer required by leading manufacturing company, based in Stroud. The successful Quotations Engineer will be responsible for creating quotations and bid packages whilst ensuring financial and technical compliance to customer requirements.
Main Duties Quotations Engineer
* Reviewing and interpreting of customer enquiries.
* Preparing and managing quotations using ERP systems, MS Office, and electronic systems.
* Reviewing customer enquiries and providing clear, accurate responses.
* Maintaining quotation registers, document management, and clarification logs.
* Organising and coordinating RFQ-related meetings.
* Developing robust cost models and ensuring commercial accuracy.
* Supporting value engineering, upselling, and margin review activities.
* Reviewing purchase orders against quotations and assisting with contracts.
* Engaging with stakeholders and customers, supporting meetings and reviews.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Quotations Engineer
* A background within a similar role, ideally gained within a manufacturing or engineering or equivalent environment.
* Strong experience in technical bid writing.
* Solid commercial awareness and costing/data analysis skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication abilities.
