We are seeking a SEND Support Staff to join a specialist school in Somerset, supporting students in aged 5 - 18 who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Autism, Anxiety and associated needs. The Role Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Autism, Anxiety and associated needs. Assist in implementing individual education plans and behaviour strategies. Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Support pupils in developing social skills, emotional regulation, and academic progress. Requirements Experience working with children or young people with SEN needs (school or care setting). Strong communication and resilience skills. Ability to build positive relationships and manage challenging behaviour. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
