An established, Durham based organisation, are looking to enhance their finance team with the appointment of an Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper.
Your new role
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will have key responsibility for:-
* Purchase ledger processing
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Bank & Cash reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Allocating maintenance costs against the correct accounts
* Credit control where needed
* Assisting with general finance admin tasks
What you'll need to succeed
A knowledge of SAGE LINE 50 is essential, alongside experience of working in a busy finance department where you have had particular responsibility for the purchase ledger and bank accounts.
