Your New Role
Our client is seeking a Company Secretarial Assistant to join their team in Swindon and play a pivotal role in their continued growth. The role offers flexibility in location and working hours, including options for part-time work or a blend of office and homeworking.
You will be responsible for incorporating limited companies, ensuring compliance with money laundering requirements, preparing and monitoring confirmation statements, filing changes to company information (including directors, PSCs, and addresses), and preparing share documents such as transfers and restructuring. Additionally, you will draft minutes and resolutions for various transactions, prepare dividend paperwork, maintain statutory records, and handle paperwork for company strike-offs and dissolutions.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Knowledge of company secretarial duties and compliance requirements is essential, along with experience in statutory record maintenance and company legislation. This is a standalone role, and while you will have support from Directors and external sources if needed, autonomy is important. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently are required. Experience with IRIS company secretarial software is advantageous but not essential.
What You'll Get in Return
Our client is open to discussing flexible working patterns and values their culture and environment. You will have the opportunity to make this role your own. For more information, please contact Harriet Chapman at Hays Legal.
