Salary: Up to £24,000 depending on experience

Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for making a difference? We’re on the lookout for a Fostering Engagement Officer to join our dynamic Enquiries Team!
In this vital role, you’ll be the friendly voice that welcomes individuals interested in becoming foster carers. Your confident telephone manner and enthusiasm will help you connect with potential carers through calls and live chat.
As an excellent communicator, you’ll remain calm and professional under pressure, listening attentively to understand the needs of each individual. Your self-motivation and vibrant approach will empower you to identify opportunities, create effective solutions, and ensure that every person feels supported and valued.
Role Responsibilities
* Respond to enquiries while building rapport with potential foster carers
* Make proactive outbound contact via phone, email, and text to engage applicants
* Conduct initial screening calls and highlight applicants' transferable skills
* Guide applicants through the benefits of fostering with Polaris and support them in the recruitment process
* Provide information and respond to queries promptly
* Build strong, trusting relationships through empathetic communication
* Navigate sensitive topics and challenging conversations with professionalism
* Promote virtual information events and monitor attendance
* Maintain accurate records on the CRM system
* Complete daily administrative tasks to support the enquiries and recruitment team
* Effectively multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
* Work flexibly to meet business needs, including one evening per week
* Prior knowledge of fostering and customer service experience is a plus!
