The Role
* Design and develop high‑precision mechanical products and assemblies.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electronic and manufacturing engineering.
* Support new product development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
* Produce detailed engineering drawings, assemblies, BOMs and technical documentation.
* Support technical problem‑solving and engineering optimisation projects.
This opportunity would particularly suit a Mechanical Design Engineer coming from electronic devices, instrumentation, electro‑mechanical systems, scientific equipment, or other precision‑engineered product environments.
Essential Criteria
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience within Mechanical Design or Product Development.
* Strong 3D CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks or similar.
* Experience designing precision‑engineered or electro‑mechanical products.
* Strong understanding of tolerancing, manufacturability, and engineering documentation.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
