Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
* Degree OR GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both or equivalent Functional Skill Level 2)
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills with pupils and staff.
* Approachable, able to build respectful relationships with pupils.
* Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting pupil progress and school life.
* Good literacy & numeracy skills to support learning and classroom administration.
* The ability to maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.
* Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries within a school setting.
* Adaptable and resilient when working across different subjects and year groups.
* Upholds high standards of professional behaviour, presentation, and integrity.
* Open to professional development and constructive feedback.
* Completed the Connex Education/Academize Effective Cover Supervision training course (access will be provided to all suitable applicants).
* Full enhanced DBS certificate
* Completed the Connex Education Onboarding Process
