Midday Supervisor - Cwmffrwdoer Primary School
Salary: Grade 2 | £13.47 per hour
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, friendly, and motivated person to join the Schools Team as a midday supervisor! The role will involve assisting in all areas of the Hall and yard to achieve the required standards of behaviour, including, but not limited to:
* Receive and hand over children at the correct times.
* Supervise children in and out of the dining hall.
* Supervise and interact with children on the playground or in the classroom.
* Encourage children to try different foods, use cutlery correctly and supervise cleaning away procedures.
* Administer appropriate first aid.
* Supervise children in class during wet playtimes and interact with children during wet play activities.
* Be aware of any visitors/strangers on school premises and report to the headteacher, class teacher or office team if unsure.
The post is for 5 hrs per week, 12:00 – 13:00, supervising primary school children during their lunch break. Cwmffrwdoer Primary is a thriving school for pupils aged 3‑11 years, situated in Pontypool, with approximately 200 pupils on roll across nine classes.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on all successful applicants, which will include an Enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
