Air Conditioning Engineer (Data Centers) Role & Responsibilities: Perform planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and commissioning on a wide range of HVAC and cooling systems within datacenter environments. Maintenance, troubleshooting. repair, servicing, installation, and commissioning of refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems in particular liquid cooling systems Precision Cooling for Data Centers Lead and support other engineers on-site, ensuring high-quality standards. Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across electrical and mechanical components. Manage and update asset records for seamless contract execution. Build strong client relationships and act as the on-site technical lead. Quote and deliver small projects and remedial works. Submit clear and accurate engineering reports. What We're Looking For: F-Gas Certification (mandatory) Hands-on experience in data centre HVAC systems and/or fluid cooling technologies NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred) Strong fault-finding and repair skills across mechanical and electrical systems Comfortable working independently or in a team; mentoring junior engineers Health & Safety tickets (PASMA, IPAF, etc.) are a bonus Full UK Driving Licence Salary & Hours: Up to £45,000 basic door-to-door travel pay 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday 25 days annual leave 8 bank holidays Benefits Package: Fully equipped premium company vehicle Private medical insurance Company pension scheme (8% from day 1) Significant training and development investment This is an ideal role for a technically strong, customer-focused engineer ready to step into high-responsibility work across critical cooling systems.
