Van Driver – Immediate Start Location: Barking, IG11 Pay: £12.21 per hour Pay Frequency: Weekly (every Friday) Hours: Monday to Friday: 06:00am – 15:00pm Every other Saturday: 6:00am – 10:00am (4 hours) 40 hours one week / 44 hours the next About the Role We are recruiting for a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join a busy automotive parts distribution operation based in Barking (IG11). This role combines driving duties with warehouse responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied and active role. You will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to garages, workshops, and trade customers across the local and surrounding areas. Deliveries may include brake pads, brake discs, nuts, bolts, car batteries, filters, oils, bulbs, and interior or exterior mirrors. You will represent the company when delivering to customers, so a professional and customer-focused approach is important. Once daily deliveries are completed, you will support the warehouse team with general operational duties. Key Responsibilities Deliver car parts to trade customers including garages and workshops Load and unload the van safely and efficiently Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time Plan delivery routes efficiently to maximise productivity Provide a professional and friendly service when interacting with customers Assist with warehouse duties once deliveries are completed Sort and organise new stock into designated warehouse locations Pick parts and prepare orders for upcoming delivery routes Check and process returned items Support general warehouse operations and maintain a clean working environment Requirements Previous experience working as a delivery driver is essential Must be over 22 years old or have held a full UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years (for insurance purposes) Good knowledge of the Barking area and surrounding locations is desirable Ability to lift and move automotive parts safely Strong organisational and time management skills Reliable, punctual and able to work the set shift pattern Comfortable working in both driving and warehouse environments Positive attitude and strong work ethic What We Offer Competitive hourly pay of £12.21 Weekly pay every Friday Consistent full-time hours Alternate Saturday morning shifts Immediate start available Long-term opportunity within a busy operation Varied role combining driving and warehouse work Supportive team environment At Venatu Recruitment Group, your right to privacy is important to us.
