The Role The school is seeking a compassionate and organised Welfare Officer to support students with their wellbeing and pastoral needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the pastoral team to ensure that students receive appropriate support and guidance. Responsibilities • Provide wellbeing support to students throughout the school day • Assist with first aid and medical needs of students • Maintain records relating to student welfare and medical information • Support safeguarding procedures and reporting • Liaise with parents regarding student wellbeing concerns • Work with pastoral staff to support vulnerable students • Promote wellbeing initiatives and healthy lifestyles • Monitor attendance linked to welfare concerns • Provide a safe space for students needing support • Assist with health and safety procedures when required Requirements • Experience working with young people or in a support role • Knowledge of safeguarding and wellbeing practices • Strong communication and empathy • Good organisational and record keeping skills • First aid training (or willingness to obtain) Application To apply, please send your CV as soon as possible.
