Working as part of our upbeat, collaborative, and rapidly expanding Transformation Team, this role is central to managing our change portfolio and delivering strategic programmes that will shape the future of the Fletchers Group. You'll work across diverse initiatives that both evolve our current operations and introduce innovative new services and products.

Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the shaping and scoping of strategic opportunities, working with stakeholders to identify optimal ways to achieve our objectives
* Take a leading role in the planning of strategic programmes within the portfolio actively leading on delivery of key activities across the business
* Create and implement clear proposals for introducing new technologies, organisational change, new propositions, new processes and ways of working into the business
* Identify and size the benefits of opportunities within the strategic plan
* Troubleshoot where required to ensure any obstacles are overcome and our plans stay on track
* Drive the smooth running of the change portfolio, optimising change management processes to support this, coaching all business areas ensuring high levels of change adoption
* Adopt the Fletchers PMO processes across the group of businesses including status reporting, milestone management and mitigation of any challenges affecting the plan
* Lead on preparing materials for Executive audiences to enable effective decision making
* Chair Steering Groups and Working Groups to drive effective outcomes, ensuring all teams are kept well informed and engaged
* Build strong relationships and be at ease negotiating and influencing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, irrespective of seniority and technical/functional background
* Engage with teams across the organisation to design plans and implement activities to effectively support colleagues through the change journey
* Where needed, manage supplier relationships with key third parties
* Evaluate the effectiveness of delivered changes and ensure benefits are realised
* Manage resource planning and allocation against key activities within the portfolio
* Support the development of change delivery best practice and tools, using your experience to enable the learning & development of others across Fletchers
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Leadership experience of working in a portfolio and programme delivery environment
* Demonstrable experience of shaping and leading large scale business change deliveries to meet the desired outcomes of the organisation
* Strong understanding of change management techniques and embedding colleague change in order to sustain and drive benefits
* Experience of coaching and supporting managers in good delivery practices
* Great relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues up to and including director and executive level
* Confidence in challenging and influencing all kinds of people in order to fully embed and sustain the changes
* Pro-active, flexible and adaptable; you're able to work in ambiguous situations and bring clarity
* Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
* Ability to assimilate complex information and research to drive strategic business outcomes
* Excellent teamworking skills creating an environment in which colleagues can be their best
* Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of activities concurrently
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other project management and delivery tools
* An appropriate portfolio or programme management qualification
