We're recruiting on behalf of a respected and long-established independent accountancy practice to appoint an experienced and strategically minded Audit Partner (RI) in their Liverpool office. This is a key leadership role with real influence and long-term progression potential, forming part of the firm's wider succession planning.
The role involves overseeing a varied portfolio of audits across a diverse client base, including SMEs, academies, and local authorities. Some offices manage smaller audits, while others deliver more complex engagements, making this an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a broad and stimulating workload. Candidates from medium-sized firms will likely find the transition seamless, while those from larger practices may value the wider scope and hands‑on nature of the role.
The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with RI status and a strong technical grounding in UK audit. Significant experience operating at Director or Partner level within a UK practice is essential, along with the ability to lead teams, build strong client relationships, and contribute to ongoing practice development.
