Overview
We are partnering with a growing global PE firm to recruit a talented and qualified accountant into their UK Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a dynamic and collaborative environment, supporting the delivery of all core Business-as-Usual (BAU) finance activities across the UK entities.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly trial balances, management accounts, and month-end MI reporting packs
* Support the preparation of quarterly group reporting submissions and Board packs
* Prepare and submit quarterly regulatory returns for regulated entities
* Assist with statutory financial statement preparation and year-end audit processes
* Manage treasury-related activities, including:
* Cashflow forecasting and liquidity management
* Invoicing and payment processing
* General Partner share management
* Debt facilities, drawdowns, and intercompany loans
* Coach and support junior finance team members to ensure high-quality BAU delivery
* Assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of financial reporting controls and processes
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function
Candidate Profile:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
* Minimum of 5 years’ finance experience, including approximately 2 years post-qualification
* Prior experience within a corporate or investment management environment preferred
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, FRS, UK regulatory reporting, and statutory financial statements
* Experience preparing management accounts, trial balances, and month end reporting
* Experience reviewing statutory accounts and supporting audit processes
* Familiarity with SAP and Concur is advantageous
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
* Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach
