Summary
:
The Management Accountant will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate and insightful financial information to support effective decision making across the business. They will drive financial operations and support the business partnering of sectors of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare monthly management accounts to include profit and loss, balance sheet and variance analysis
2. Aid in month end close and reporting process
3. Support the forecasting and budget process
4. Monitoring of Intercompany and fixed asset reporting
5. Support compliance activities and reporting including MSS/SAO/STBV/PSA
6. Assist the finance team in the month-end and year-end process to meet group reporting and delivery requirements.
7. Complete expenses review and posting
8. Support cash management and reporting
9. Support VAT and tax reporting
10. General ledger activities and journal postings
11. AP transactional posting analysis and reporting
12. AR set-ups, transactional posting of sales invoices, analysis and reporting.
13. Assist with internal and external audits.
14. Help to identify improvements in working capital.
15. Balance sheet review and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
16. Create or improve operational efficiencies by process improvement and automation.
17. Provide timely and accurate financial information to the organisation including ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Candidate Skills and Qualification:
Essential:
23. AAT Qualified and studying towards an accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or QBE
24. Excellent attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
25. Knowledge and experience of continuous improvement tools and techniques
26. Innovative and proactive approach to problem solving, able to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented.
