Blue Diamond Recruitment are working with a growing property business that has a strong pipeline of work across the Midlands and South patch. This reputable business is seeking a Land Manager to focus on acquiring new sites with a focus on the West Midlands and West of England patch.
The Role:
As Land Manager, you will play a key role in acquiring land opportunities across a significant patch – West Midlands and West of England. You will:
* Actively network and build strong relationships with agents, landowners and other industry contacts.
* Be able to hit the ground running and manage your own diary
* Source and acquire sites typically ranging from up to 5-400+ acres.
* Focusing on sites for housing and mixed use, usually greenfield sites.
* Negotiate and progress deals through to completion, supporting the wider team on delivery.
* Based in the West Midlands office 3+ days per week, with travel across the patch as required.
About You:
* Proven track record in land acquisition within housing or strategic land promotion.
* Strong network of agents, land owners and contacts within the Midlands / West.
* Confident, personable and capable of talking to clients directly.
* 2+ years’ experience working within land acquisition.
* Competent in structuring and negotiating deals, including options promotion agreements.
* Ambitious and someone who wants to grow with the business and deliver results.
Offering a competitive salary c£50,000 - £75,000 plus package, bonus and hybrid working. You will work closely with a highly experienced management team across Land and Planning. This is a role with long-term potential, offering the chance to build on established relationships while expanding your own network and track record.
