We are seeking innovative and driven Senior Karting Marshal / Pits Managers to help lead Kart Silverstone, a world-class facility at one of the most prestigious motorsport venues on the planet. Facilities
At the heart of Kart Silverstone is a 1.4km FIA-CIK circuit, multiple Arrive & Drive configurations, and a two-storey facility with a restaurant, roof terrace, customer-focused reception, briefing rooms and workshop. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
* General Responsibilities: Assist in pre-opening activities (preparing karts and equipment, training participation, running system and venue tests). Support the Duty Manager with day-to-day operations (preparing and cleaning the kart fleet, equipment checks, setup, routine maintenance of equipment and barriers, packing down the venue after events).
* Operations: Manage events to ensure safety standards, fair racing and excellent customer service. Carry out routine karting marshal activities (assisting guests in the pit lane, flagging, refuelling, incident control and recovery of karts).
* Pitlane Management: Manage pitlane during operational days, monitor fuel levels, report mechanical issues to the Workshop, and communicate with FOH about upsells. Lead preparation and pack-down phases to ensure fuel, safety and cleanliness standards are followed.
* Training: Assist in training new Karting Marshals and ensure training documentation is completed and communicated effectively.
Customer Experience
* Deliver unforgettable experiences from arrival to post-event feedback. Maintain exceptional service standards and address customer concerns swiftly and professionally.
* Drive upsell opportunities (e.g., helmet cameras and racing gloves) and promote wider Silverstone offerings (Escapade, Museum, Tours, etc).
Safety and Sustainability
* Assist daily track and equipment inspections. Enforce safety protocols and collaborate with internal teams to adhere to industry standards and best practices.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Proven leadership in team management and operations management, preferably within motorsport or leisure industries.
* Exceptional customer service with a passion for creating extraordinary experiences.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, thriving in high-pressure environments.
* Understanding of operational frameworks and experience creating and implementing operating standards.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, industry best practices and trends.
Work Environment
* Dynamic, fast-paced, hands-on with both indoor and outdoor activities.
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed – operations run 364 days a year.
