You will work closely with our Dura Site Manager, following project methods and specifications. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential, along with monitoring materials, tools, and safety equipment, and reporting resupply needs to maintain productivity.

Job Purpose
Assist with the safe and efficient installation of GRP riser flooring, bespoke structures, and GRP pit covers. Support the installation team, ensuring adherence to project specifications and internal processes, contributing to overall project success.
Key Duties
1. Interpret programs, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
2. Set out risers and ensure precise positioning.
3. Cut and pre-fabricate materials as needed.
4. Install components according to specifications.
5. Assist in installing products under supervision.
6. Install bespoke structures and cut products as required.
7. Install GRP pit covers, ensuring safety and quality.
8. Participate in training to progress towards Level 2 NVQ.
9. Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
10. Manage materials and resources on-site.
11. Ensure quality control throughout construction.
12. Identify and resolve problems proactively.
13. Report defects per ISO 9001 procedures.
14. Use appropriate tools and PPE.
15. Follow health and safety protocols, including SSOW, PUWER & LOLER regulations.
16. Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
17. Report equipment issues.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
* Experience as a Construction Fitter or similar role.
* Full UK Driving license preferred.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
* Fitting skills and attention to detail.
* Safety, health, and environmental awareness.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 procedures is a plus.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to travel and stay on-site if needed.
* Certifications such as CSCS, PASMA, IPAF, and PTS required.
Contract & Hours
Permanent contract. Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00, 35-45 hours/week.
Location
Dura House, Clacton-on-Sea.
Salary & Benefits
£26,000 - £31,500 per annum, plus potential 10% bonus after one year. Total package £28,600 - £34,650. 20 days holiday + bank holidays, option to buy 5 additional days. Benefits include sick pay, pension, health screening, wellness programs, salary sacrifice schemes, and more.
