Role Overview
In 2026, continues to push the boundaries of what is possible in the public, OOH space. As a Mid-level Art Director within our Innovate Team, you will be the bridge between traditional high-end craft and the next frontier of technology enabled production.
Working closely with our Creative Director and the broader commercial and production teams, you will help conceptualise and execute "never-been-done-before" digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) campaigns. You will be responsible for creating high-quality proposals and mock-ups, while playing a hands-on role in evolving our production workflows using the latest generative content and design models.
Key Responsibilities
Idea Generation: Partner with the Creative Director to turn creative briefs into tangible, groundbreaking DOOH ideas. that leverage generative storytelling.
Visual Proposals: Create beautiful presentations that bring innovative DOOH (inc. experiential) ideas to life for our global clients. These might include mood boards, in-situ mocks, storyboards, 3D renders or videos. These will sometimes be needed fast, so an ability to balance speed with quality is essential.
Hybrid Production: Marry traditional 2D/3D animation techniques with generative tools to create seamless, high-resolution assets that meet the technical rigour of large-format screens.
Pipeline Evolution: Help integrate forthcoming tools (such as next-gen video models and agentic design workflows) into our production approaches to increase creative agility.
Quality Control: Ensure that AI-assisted outputs maintain the highest level of brand integrity, avoiding "AI hallucinations" and ensuring legal compliance for public broadcast.
You will also work alongside some of our trusted external creative production partners. Helping steer our collaborative efforts to the best quality outputs.
Technical Skillset & Toolstack
We are looking for a hybrid creative who is as comfortable in a 3D viewport as they are in a prompt console. It is preferable that candidates have strong experience with:
Generative Stills & Motion: Mastery of AI based content generation tools such as Google DeepMind's Nano Banana, Veo, and other solutions such as Runway Gen-3, Kling and other best in class tools for cinematic video and 3D asset generation.
Next-Gen Prototyping: Early adoption of emerging agentic tools for workflow automation and creative experimentation.
Traditional 3D/2D: Strong foundations in 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or 3ds Max, coupled with the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
About You
Visual Storyteller: You can take a simple idea and build a visual world around it that captivates an audience (sometimes in under six seconds).
Passionate about design: You have a strong portfolio that demonstrates exceptional design skills, with a strong understanding of branding and how to implement across multiple OOH channels. You can design with a specific audience in mind, have an eye for detail and a strong focus on quality.
The Hybrid Mindset: You understand that AI is a co-pilot, not a replacement for fundamental design principles like composition, lighting, and pacing.
Agile Learner: You thrive on the "new" and are likely already testing beta tools before they hit the mainstream.
Collaborative: You enjoy working at the intersection of the commercial and production teams, translating complex tech into exciting client opportunities.
Proactive: You are self-motivated and will jump in to support fellow team members when needed. You use your initiative to identify opportunities and solve problems.
