What will I be doing?
With an eye for detail and a passion for excellence as the supervisor to our team of HGV Technicians you’ll be hardworking with a commitment to the highest standards of vehicle safety. The position is a hybrid role working 50% in the workshop and 50% in the office.
Day to day you will:
* Be responsible for Job allocation to the team of technicians
* Conduct Vehicle QC checking and spot checks
* Work with our transport departments on vehicle availability
* Prioritize work to meet demands of the business
* Ensure cost control on parts and external maintenance
* Carry out equipment checks in line with policy
* Manage health and safety and internal health and safety reporting metrics
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Previous experience in a supervisory/team leader role is preferred
* A great communicator who can act as the bridge between the workshop and the office
* Your calm nature and methodical approach help you easily work under pressure
* A natural problem solver
* You’ll have great computer skills
* A Class one licence is advantageous
