An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated nurse to work at the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory as a Band 5 Registered Nurse. We are seeking an enthusiastic nurse with a genuine interest in cardiology and intervention, keen to be involved in this expanding and dynamic service. You should possess excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.The post holder is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based nursing care, working collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families. The candidate must be an excellent role model and be capable of building strong working relationships and be able to develop and support junior members of the team. Main duties of the job To admit, care for and discharge patients through their journey in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This entails preparing patients pre procedure and ensuring their aftercare post procedure on the ward; to scrub and run during their procedures in the Lab; and to pre-assess patients prior to their appointment. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
