Refuse & Recycling Collector

Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 per annum. Working hours: 37 hours per week.
Division: Streetscape Division.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the waste services team at Lower House Farm where you will assist in keeping the Borough clean and green and assisting residents to understand waste and recycling.
Responsibilities
* Empty wheelie bins from the curb or, where necessary, residents’ properties.
* Assist residents with queries.
* Perform other tasks in accordance with Council standards of service.
* Work flexible hours, including starting at 6:30 am, outside standard hours, weekends and bank holidays as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Accept a Criminal Record Check via the Disclosure and Barring Service – a basic check is required.
* Be physically fit.
* Willing to undertake appropriate training.
* Prepared to undertake other duties when required.
