Recovery Worker - covering West Cornwall (Ref:0046ZB)

We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people. Successful candidates will join the adult community team alongside outreach, hospital, clinical, criminal justice and a residential rehabilitation facility.
Main responsibilities
* Support clients to identify their goals, ambitions and passions and develop a personalised treatment plan.
* Provide continuity of care through effective partnership working and care coordination.
* Manage an active caseload, ensuring clients are treated with respect and dignity at all times.
* Deliver intervention and key work responsibilities as part of the frontline service.
Essential skills & qualifications
* Attained ONC/NVQ level 3 or willing to achieve within 12 months.
* Demonstrable experience working or volunteering in health, social care, criminal justice, or other specialist settings.
* Track record of working or volunteering with people who have experienced substance misuse issues.
* Valid driving licence with access to a vehicle and business use insurance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Highly organised, resilient under pressure, and able to prioritise workload.
* IT competent and flexible with working hours, including occasional Saturdays.
