As a Drainage Operative you will largely learn the basics of working in the drainage field, working with our experienced team on CCTV or jetting vehicles, building an understanding of how we approach jobs using best practice. You will be involved in inspecting and maintaining drainage routes for the local water authority, cleaning and surveying pipes for building companies, and assisting on larger scale projects such as tank and siphon cleaning.
About The Role
* High‑pressure water jetting
* Working in confined spaces
* Driving and operating van packs and CCTV vehicles across the fleet
* Manual handling, carrying suction hose, cleaning up spillages and removing debris using brushes and shovels
* Cleaning of sewer and storm lines using a high‑pressure unit or aiding the recycler team
* Assist the vehicle lead to achieve timely job completion
* Undertake all training and development as required
* Thorough completion of site and works information on a tablet device
* Working away may be required
