We are currently recruiting for a talented individual to become our End Point Assessment Lead for the Career Development Professional Apprenticeship standard. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced careers professional to build on or expand their experience in the careers sector and contribute to the professional development of new practitioners.

Please note that this role is dependant on the continued requirement for End Point Assessment Organisations to provide independent assessments for the Career Development Professional Apprenticeship standard.
Your Role And Responsibilities
The role has a dual purpose. You will oversee the day-to-day operations and decisions by Suffolk County Council’s (SCC) End Point Assessment service for Career Development Professionals as well as undertake some End Point Assessments. You will also be involved in reviewing and developing any relevant policies and procedures and supporting the other assessors in their role. All work undertaken needs to comply with the requirements of Department for Education and Ofqual.
You will work with a small supportive team of assessors that will:
* ensure we maintain the quality of the assessments we provide for apprentices at the end of their apprenticeship
* enable the continued review and enhancement of the service
* take pride in the service that the SCC End Point Assessment Organisation provides
* ensure that all OFQUAL and other requirements are met.
You will need
* ideally experience of assessing learners as well as a careers professional qualification at Level 6 or higher.
* to be passionate about careers, information, advice and guidance and have the ability to work independently as well as support a team
* understanding and having experience of End Point Assessments and the Career Development Professional Standard
* an internal quality assurance qualification (desirable).

The wider SCC Skills Team, of which the End Point Assessment Organisation is a part, exists to support economic growth and help increase social mobility in Suffolk and the surrounding region by leading, delivering and contributing to a number of strategic skills and employment programmes.

We anticipate that this role will involve both working remotely from home and in the Endeavour House office based in Ipswich. However, this is dependant on the circumstances of the successful candidate.
