The school is looking to interview ASAP for an immediate or upcoming start. About the Role You will be working closely within a smaller-than-average Year 2 class, supporting children with a range of additional needs, including: Non-verbal communication Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) A pupil with hearing impairment (deaf) Experience with BSL (British Sign Language) or Makaton would be highly beneficial, but is not essential – the school is happy to support training and development in these areas. This is a highly rewarding role where you will play a key part in helping pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence in a nurturing classroom environment.
