Main duties of the job

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf, whilst ensuring high standards of care for our residents.
Other responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking nursing tasks including medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions.
* Advising families and GPs of any changes in residents' conditions that give rise to concern, keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
* Responsibility for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during duty hours and residents receive the required care.
* Providing high standards of care by undertaking accurate assessments and planning.

Our ideal candidate must:
* Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
* Have a minimum of 2 years' experience and up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies or qualifications.
* Display good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
* Have sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
This role will require:
* An ADBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare.
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
