Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Hospital staff, patients, and visitors, as well as the physical security of all Hospital buildings and equipment.
Responsibilities
1. Interact with visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Observe and enforce all hospital policies, rules, and regulations.
2. Monitor visitors and patients. Manage any unusual circumstances or difficulties. Maintain visitor control inside and outside of the hospital.
3. Assist with Codes and Stats. Restrain patients when needed and watch for future disturbances. Conduct routine door checks. Maintain logs and reports.
4. Monitor cameras and alarms as needed. Follow emergency procedures for bomb threats (Code 99) or helicopter pad landings.
5. Make emergency deliveries or pick-up of medication, organs, and blood. Provide vehicle transportation for patients, visitors, and employees as required.
6. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications and Specifications
A high school diploma and a minimum of six months of job-related experience or equivalent are preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
