To provide and assist wherever necessary, a Housekeeping service, maintaining a clean and healthy environment for patients and staff in on ward 2a CCU
To collaborate with the ward sister and ward administrator and to provide housekeeping skills alongside some administrative work
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will need to:
Be able to communicate effectively within the team and with all patients from diverse backgrounds.
Plan and prioritise their workload independently and according to the need of our patients or area.
Have basic computer skills to be able to order stores, equipment and collaborate with the relevant departments.
Liaise with the nursing team and ward manager in order to make sure that equipment is available and within date.
Ensure the ward is clean and clutter free and contribute in the auditing of the environment.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING

11. Basic secondary school education.
12. Basic literacy and numeracy skills
13. Basic computer Skills or willing to learn
EXPERIENCE

14. Previous housekeeper experience (desirable)
15. Experience of working within NHS (desirable)
16. Experience of working in a team and also on own initiative
