Our client, a well-established and highly respected company in the composites sector, is seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join their innovative team. Design Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
* Design and develop composite tooling solutions
* Produce detailed tooling drawings and CAD models
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
* Collaborate with teams to meet design specifications and production goals
* Continuously improve designs for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
* Coach and mentor junior team members
* Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
Design Engineer Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in tooling design, ideally in composites
* Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, Siemens NX, etc.)
* Strong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and team-working abilities
* Project management experience is a plus
