Binnies, an RSK Group company, is seeking a Project Solutions Manager (Water Recycling) to join the @one Alliance.
Role Overview:
As a key member of the @one Alliance—an award-winning leader in water sector capital delivery—you will work on diverse projects including wastewater treatment, infrastructure (water and sewer pipelines), and water treatment and storage.
Your responsibilities include leading the development of innovative project solutions, focusing on outcomes that reduce carbon footprint, enhance natural capital, address climate change, and incorporate digital technologies.
Key Accountabilities:
* Collaborate with the Portfolio Solutions Manager to plan resources for solution development.
* Develop project plans with programmes and budgets aligned with Anglian Water, monitor progress, and support performance reporting.
* Manage data assessment and solution options to inform risk, opportunity, and value analysis, documenting reasons for rejection.
* Engage with project teams and stakeholders to communicate progress and facilitate acceptance of solutions.
* Lead the creation of @one Solutions Stage deliverables and support review meetings.
* Support stakeholder engagement and escalation processes as needed.
* Understand project outcomes, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop solutions.
* Assess the value of additional data collection if gaps exist.
* Coordinate with project teams to develop solutions that address affordability, sustainability, design, and operational factors.
* Support the assessment of confidence levels in preferred solutions.
Health & Safety: Assist in producing design risk assessments compliant with CDM regulations.
People/Team Development: Foster a positive, inclusive work environment and build strong relationships with teams and partners.
Transformation: Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainability initiatives, including carbon reduction and natural capital enhancement.
Candidate Profile:
* Degree in engineering or related field.
* Experience in water assets and capital projects; design and build experience is advantageous.
* Strong leadership skills, ethical conduct, and collaborative mindset.
* Ability to manage activities efficiently and support team development.
