Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Existing Accounts Team Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Existing Accounts Sales Team and Administrators. This is a critical role in driving sales revenue, ensuring service levels are met, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for hitting sales revenue targets, improving quote conversion rates, and ensuring all quotations are completed within agreed SLAs. They will provide structured coaching, training, and support to the team, working closely with the Key Account Manager and Head of Group Sales to ensure smooth operations and account growth.

This role requires a strong leader who can analyse performance data, identify areas for improvement, and drive commercial success while ensuring quotes are effectively reviewed, optimised, and maximising all revenue opportunities.

Salary: £35k- £50k DOE

Hours: 40hrs per week Monday- Friday 8:30-17:00

What You'll Be Doing:

Sales Performance & Revenue Growth

* Achieve monthly and annual sales revenue targets across existing accounts.
* Meet and exceed quote conversion targets, implementing strategies to drive higher success rates.
* Resolve rejected quotes by identifying barriers to conversion and working with the team to improve outcomes.
* Oversee the audit and review of all quotes, ensuring they are well-presented, commercially optimised, and aligned with business objectives.
* Work closely with the Key Account Manager to ensure alignment between sales efforts and account strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

* Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and structured training to develop the team's skills and performance.
* On-board and train new starters, ensuring they integrate effectively and understand company processes.
* Carry out regular 1-to-1s with team members, setting clear objectives and addressing any underperformance.
* Encourage a high-performance culture, ensuring the team remains engaged, motivated, and accountable.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the department.

Operational & SLA Management

* Ensure all quotes are processed within agreed SLAs, identifying and removing any delays.
* Manage the team mailbox, ensuring all queries are cleared promptly and accurately logged.
* Supervise general account performance, ensuring smooth operations and no service gaps.
* Act as an overflow resource for quotes when necessary to maintain workflow efficiency.

Performance Tracking & Data Analysis

* Analyse team performance data daily, using insights to drive improvements and address any underperformance.
* Issue daily performance reports to the team and Head of Sales, providing visibility on key metrics and trends.
* Implement corrective actions where necessary to improve sales outcomes and efficiency.
* Work closely with other departments to resolve operational issues that impact performance.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Achievement of sales revenue targets, both monthly and annually.
* Quote SLA compliance, ensuring all quotes are processed within agreed timeframes.
* Increased quote conversion rates, measured against previous performance.
* Reduction in rejected quotes, with clear strategies to overcome objections.
* Successful on boarding and training of new team members.
* Regular and insightful performance reporting, supporting data-driven decision-making.
* Proactive process improvements, leading to enhanced team efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Bring:

* Proven experience in team management, with a track record of driving performance and coaching teams.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and use insights to drive improvements.
* Confidence in training and on boarding new starters, ensuring a seamless integration into the team.
* Commercial awareness, with the ability to audit, review, and optimise quotes for maximum revenue opportunities.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with internal teams.
* Experience in quoting, estimating, or sales processes (preferred but not essential).
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, ensuring team efficiency and workflow continuity.
* Experience in the fire, security, or electrical sector (preferred but not essential).
