About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Service Sales Engineer to join our dedicated Service Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving service business growth by promoting HBK's service offerings. Your focus will include both generating new opportunities and responding to incoming customer inquiries.
This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with customers across diverse industries, including automotive, aerospace, wind energy, rail, and oil & gas. You will target customers who have invested in HBK data acquisition systems and transducers, offering calibration services and identifying opportunities to upsell additional services such as software maintenance, support, and training.
Your creativity and consultative approach will help HBK deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements and support our goal of growing service revenue year over year.
Key Responsibilities
Sales-Oriented Activities
* Proactively hunt calibration business and self-generate opportunities to build pipeline.
* visit potential and existing customers to generate inquiries using consultative sales techniques.
* Demonstrate the unique benefits of partnering with HBK and showcase all services we can offer throughout the business.
* Prepare quotations when required, and focus on getting more customers on multiyear service contracts, building resilient revenue for the company
* Provide accurate feedback through reports and forecasts, and actively contribute to departmental meetings.
* Actively market HBK services to all customers through email, phone and social media.
Service-Oriented Support
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all services are delivered as expected.
* Provide pre-sales and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Manage all contracts, helping to facilitate services sold.
General Activities
* Prepare monthly reports and participate in team meetings.
* Maintain communication with team members throughout the global Service Sales Team to share ideas for continued growth.
Qualifications
* Candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related technical discipline will be favoured but candidates with demonstrated prior sales experience of owning and meeting annual targets, will be considered.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
