Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Can you help learners understand the connections between people, places, and the environment?
GSL Education are seeking a motivated Geography Teacher who can make learning relevant and engaging, with opportunities available across Sheffield schools situated in the S35 catchment area.
As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver lessons that build understanding of physical and human geography, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness in an inclusive classroom.
Prime Responsibilities:
* Deliver well-structured geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Encourage enquiry, discussion, and analytical thinking.
* Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
* Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification.
* Experience working as a Geography Teacher in a school setting.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
