Assistant Manager Caledonian is looking for an ambitious and driven Assistant Manage r to join the leadership team at our hotel. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their management career within a respected and growing hotel collection As Assistant Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of the hotel, helping to deliver outstanding guest experiences while leading, motivating and developing the team. You will act as a key point of contact for guests and colleagues, ensuring smooth operations across all departments. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the management of the hotel operation to ensure exceptional guest service across all departments. Leading, coaching and motivating the hotel team to deliver consistently high standards. Taking ownership of guest feedback and ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer complaints. Carrying out Duty Management shifts and acting as a senior presence on site. Ensuring full awareness of, and compliance with, Health & Safety policies and procedures. Proactively encouraging personal development and supporting the growth of others. Ensuring 100% compliance with all mandatory training requirements. Creating a positive, productive and engaged team culture that promotes teamwork and employee satisfaction. About you You will be a confident and approachable leader with a passion for hospitality and people development. You will bring: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hotel industry, ideally with front office or operational exposure. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent customer service skills and a genuine focus on guest satisfaction. A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with colleagues and guests. A hands-on leadership style and the ability to work effectively as part of a management team. Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, including weekends and holidays.
