Role overview

urbanbubble are looking for an outstanding General Manager to lead the team at the Soho Yard development in Sheffield! The General Manager will be solely responsible for delivering all aspects of the lettings and management of the development, including the delivery of exceptionally high-quality customer service.

What will you do?

1. Be solely responsible for delivering all aspects of the operational and budgetary management of the development, including the delivery of high-quality customer service.
2. Ensure the smooth running of the building and that all resident services are carried out to a high standard.
3. Provide inspirational leadership to a highly motivated team committed to continuous improvement, outstanding performance, and excellent resident satisfaction.
4. Manage and create the budget for the building, ensuring efficient and effective operation.
5. Contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reporting on lettings performance and operational budget management.
6. Implement and support an engagement strategy that includes resident communication, events, feedback, and satisfaction measurement.
7. Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are properly implemented to provide a safe environment for residents and staff.
8. Deliver all KPIs through effective operational management and uphold the highest standards in line with Service Level Agreements.
9. Recruit, develop, and retain talent by promoting peak performance through effective people management, including one-to-one reviews.

What are we looking for?

* Comparable property management experience within residential or hospitality sectors.
* Good understanding and practical experience of H&S and building management.
* Experience managing budgets.
* Strong communication, influencing, and relationship skills.
* Excellent people management skills and experience managing large teams.
* Experience developing high-performing teams in fast-paced, demanding environments.
* Outstanding customer service standards.
* The ability to work proactively, using initiative in a competitive and dynamic environment.
* High levels of energy, drive, enthusiasm, and passion for personal and team development.

Desirable qualifications:

* Health and Safety qualification.
* ARLA qualification.
* IRPM foundation level qualification (or willingness to work towards).
