About the practice;
The Light Surgery is based in the heart of Leeds City Centre, and looks after a patient population from across the City.
With a patient list of 17,700, we look to deliver the best patient outcomes and service, focused on promoting wellbeing, delivering planned personalised care, good patient continuity and access to the right care at the right time through innovation.
The Light Surgery is located within Leeds City Centre on the Balcony Level of The Light Centre, just off the Headrow, with excellent public transport links, as well as all the amenities a city centre can offer. There is a discounted parking rate offered at Q-Park.
Demographic;
Our practice population is markedly different to most general practices across the rest of Leeds. The majority of our patients are young or of working age. We are made up of GPs, Practice Nurses, Health Coaches, Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and Mental Health Workers, with further support from our PCN including First Contact Physiotherapists and Drugs/Alcohol Support in house. Our non-clinician team is made up of our practice’s Business Manager, Senior Administrator, and Receptionist team, with support from Medical Secretaries and Clinical Coders working in a centralised hub.
