GSL Education are recruiting Cover Supervisors to work with schools in Sheffield, specifically within the S11 area, providing reliable and adaptable support to maintain learning continuity throughout the school day. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and keep lessons on track. The role is ideal for calm, organised individuals confident working with young people across various subjects. Main Responsibilities: Supervise classes using prepared lesson materials. Maintain a positive and structured learning environment. Ensure pupils remain on task and follow school expectations. Manage behaviour in line with school policies. Report back to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress. Requirements of Cover Supervisor: Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. A flexible, confident, and professional approach. An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
