Due to a long-term absence in the English department, a well-regarded secondary school in Oldham is urgently seeking a qualified English teacher to join their team. This full-time role starts immediately and will continue until at least the end of the academic year, with the strong possibility of a permanent position from September 2025.
Responsibilities
1. Teaching English at KS3 and GCSE
2. Planning lessons
3. Marking student work
4. Delivering engaging lessons in line with departmental guidance

The school maintains high academic standards and excellent student behaviour. Located near central Oldham, it is easily accessible from Manchester, Rochdale, and Tameside, with excellent public transport links and access to the M60 and A62.

* QTS or equivalent
