Level 2 Teaching Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a committed and resilient Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Middlesbrough. This long-term temporary role is to start ASAP and is full-time (Monday to Friday).
The school is on a sustained journey of progress and improvement, with a strong focus on raising standards and supporting every student to achieve their potential. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learning across the curriculum, working closely with teaching staff to ensure students are engaged, supported, and making progress.
Responsibilities
* Support learning across the curriculum
* Work closely with teaching staff to ensure students are engaged, supported, and making progress
Qualifications and attributes
* Experience working in a secondary school setting
* Confident supporting students aged 11-16, including those with additional needs
* Resilient, proactive, and effective in the classroom
* Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
* Hold a Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent)
