Salary: £35,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements:
* Proven experience (ideally 2+ years) working in a similar IT Operations or IT Security Analyst position.
* Comfortable working in a broad role across both IT operational support and IT and Information Security.
* Appetite to learn and continually improve skills within a supportive team environment.
* Local to Swadlincote and willing to work in a hybrid role (4 days a week in the office, 1 day at home).
Responsibilities:
* Ensure IT infrastructure is monitored and maintain the operational tasks required.
* Keep documentation up to date for relevant systems as needed.
* Monitor Information Security Systems and services to identify security issues, configuration issues, and report deviations from policies and standards.
* Troubleshoot problems with services as required.
* Assist in service desk tickets and operations issues.
* Participate in and support Information Security related projects and initiatives as needed.
* Monitor all in-place security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations.
* Contribute to the collection and reporting of Information Security metrics as required.
* Participate in investigations into problematic activity.
* Execute vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
* Maintain IT Infrastructure project tasks and support other IT departments with project tasks.
