This is an exciting opportunity to join a team changing lives through high-quality apprenticeship training. Skern Training and Skills is looking for an Early Years Apprentice Training Specialist to support learners through their apprenticeship journey. You\'ll plan, deliver, and assess engaging training, potentially across Levels 2-5 using a blended learning approach, including in-person, online, and on-the-job methods.
This is a home-based role with field travel to local settings, and applicants must be located in the Midlands, Bristol, Hereford or Gloucester area due to regional delivery needs. Permanent and Maternity cover roles are available. Full or Part-time hours considered.
What You'll Do
* Deliver and assess Early Years apprenticeships (L2-L5)
* Support learners with Maths, English, and additional needs alongside our functional skills trainers
* Manage a caseload of approx. 35 apprentices
* Prepare apprentices for End Point Assessment
* Maintain accurate records and ensure quality standards
* Travel to employer sites (some overnight stays required)

Entry requirements
What You'll Need
* Experience delivering Early Years apprenticeships
* Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and EPA
* Confident using MS Teams for online delivery
* Organised, self-motivated, and quality-focused
* GCSE Maths & English (C/4 or above)
Things to consider
* Package: £28,600 pa which is made up of £25,000 annual salary, plus car allowance of £3,600 pa (+ Benefits, mileage, laptop and phone).
* Location: Home/Field-Based - Must be based in the Bristol or Gloucester area
* Hours: Full-time or part-time (flexible options available)
* Start Date: October 2025
* Contract Type: Maternity cover
* Interviews: Planned for August 20th - alternate dates can be offered if unavailable due to holidays
