BDM - Southern Home Counties - Ideally located in Kent
THE ROLE: As a BDM within the South Thames region you will spend your time building relationships with existing and new electrical wholesalers. You will be selling a range of industrial, commercial and emergency lighting products. Candidates with experience in lighting, cabling or associated electrical products will do very well. Candidates working with or for electrical wholesalers or candidate from outside of electrical should also apply as full training and support will be given. Working as part of a close knit and highly successful sales team, you will represent a profitable and fast-growing company. The position will require you to demonstrate your understanding of structured territory management, call planning, relationship building and selling as well as technical credibility and passion for products. Key to success in this role is a proven track record of sales and strong sales process within electrical or lighting. Candidates need a team player mentality but also the ability to work alone and be self-sufficient in their region.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
· 1 year or more working in field sales within lighting or electrical sector
· Understanding of Electrical Distributors and Electrical sector desirable but not essential
· Ability to manage a call plan, drive growth in accounts and win new stockists
· An organised, driven and professional salesperson with good attention to detail
· If not from an electrical background, a grounding in technical sales is useful
Salary: up to £55,000 basic salary, plus up to £12k OTE, company car, mobile, laptop, 25 days holiday, pension scheme
