Description The Role Are you an experienced construction professional ready to lead the delivery of high‑quality minor works across Cornwall? We’re looking for a Minor Works Supervisor to play a key role in delivering refurbishment, improvement and multi‑trade works that support our business objectives and enhance the services we provide to customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a motivated team, oversee varied project portfolios, and make a real impact in our communities. As a Minor Works Supervisor, you will oversee the operational delivery of planned projects and refurbishment works across a range of properties and sites. You’ll supervise around 15 multi‑trade operatives and manage contractors, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standard. You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to plan resources efficiently, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Health & Safety and CDM requirements. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Oversee multi‑trade planned works and improvement projects Supervise day‑to‑day operations across multiple sites Plan labour, materials and plant needs Work closely with clients to schedule and deliver projects on time Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, CDM and company standards Complete regular site inspections focused on quality and safety Prepare RAMS and Construction Phase Plans Support valuations, billing and cost management Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams For further details, please refer to the role profile About You We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualities and qualifications: Experience supervising construction or refurbishment works Strong understanding of procurement, contracts and H&S requirements Confident leading and developing multi‑trade teams Good financial awareness and organisational skills Relevant construction qualification/professional membership SMSTS (or willingness to obtain) Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regularly If you meet these qualifications and are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.
