Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant

We’re looking for a caring and committed Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming special needs school. This is your chance to bring patience, empathy, and insight to pupils who need extra support with their learning and wellbeing.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, such as autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges
2. Working 1:1 or in small groups, helping pupils engage with lessons and develop confidence
3. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to create safe, structured learning spaces
4. Using your psychology knowledge to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
What we’re looking for:
5. A recent Psychology graduate (or related field) with a genuine interest in education and child development
6. Someone calm, resilient, and enthusiastic about working in a special needs setting
7. Experience with SEND (through study, volunteering, or work)
