This architectural and interiors practice offering a bespoke design and project management service to a high-net-worth client, is seeking an experienced Project Planner / Programme Planner to join our client-led construction management team on a substantial high-end residential project, for a 12–36-month PAYE hourly rate contract.
The successful Project Planner / Programme Planner will be joining 3x other White Space freelancers and a dedicated client-led construction project management team onsite in a dedicated converted coach house style studio. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating the master programme across all trade packages for White Box, Gold Box and External Works. The main deliverables: To provide a clear, realistic, and fully coordinated programme that the entire team works to; the early identification of risks and proactive mitigation of programme slippage; and the alignment between design, procurement, and construction activities.
White Space is seeking an experienced Project Planner / Programme Planner with proven experience in high-end residential or complex refurbishment projects; strong experience in programming software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, MS Project); experience of working within a construction management or multi-package procurement environment understanding construction sequencing, interfaces and dependencies; have familiarity with Procore or similar project management platforms and have the confidence to challenge inputs and drive programme realism (not just reporting).
Project Planners / Programme Planners applying must be proactive and comfortable working without the safety net of a traditional main contractor structure, be willing to work on the client site most of the week, 40 hours, and either be immediately available, or who can start within 1-2 weeks.
